Abacus Corporation in Edwardsville, IL seeks experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse environment. Pay is $25.00 per hour with multiple shift options: 6AM–4:30PM, 6PM–4:30AM, 6AM-6PM, and 6PM-6AM.

Qualifications

Prior sit-down forklift experience is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trailers while ensuring product accuracy and damage prevention.
Transport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory to designated locations.
Stage materials for production, shipping, and receiving operations.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Utilize RF scanners, inventory systems, and shipping documentation as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
