Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a SIP Developer (OCCAS) to design, develop, and support OCCAS-based SIP applications within an OMNIChannel platform.

The role emphasizes session management, SIP routing, SIPREC recording, and integrations with SBCs, Amazon Connect, and AI-driven services. You will build and maintain SIP handling, header manipulation, and dial plan routing, optimize flows for performance and resiliency, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while providing production support across distributed

Qualifications

• Experience with SIP protocol and RFC 3261 standards.
• Expertise in SIPREC architecture and call recording.
• Java/J2EE development in OCCAS/WebLogic environments.
• Understanding of SIP call flows, SDP, RTP, and session state management.
• Experience integrating with SBCs and contact center platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and IaC (Docker/Kubernetes/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain OCCAS-based SIP applications.
• Implement session handling, routing logic, and SIP dialog control.
• Develop SIP header manipulation, normalisation, and dial plan management.
• Optimize SIP flows for performance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Build and maintain SIPREC recording and media flows across OCCAS, SBCs, and recording platforms.
• Implement SIPREC routing, multi-stream recording, and metadata handling.
• Troubleshoot SIPREC scenarios including Re-INVITE flows and recording failures.
• Integrate OCCAS with SBCs for routing, TLS, and trunking.
• Support SIP signaling security, traffic shaping, and reliability.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Provide L3/L4 production support for SIP issues and outages.
• Develop runbooks and automation to improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Amazon Connect, Genesys, and AI/Bot platforms for integrations.
• Support AI-driven routing, agent-assist, and analytics workflows.
