• Valid U.S. Coast Guard documentation and endorsements for the specific position, including:

1. Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with the following endorsements:
   • VPDSD Endorsement (Vessel Personnel Designated with Security Duties)
   • STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) for watch standers
   • RFPNW/RFPEW (Ratings Forming Part of Navigational/Engine watch)
   • OICNW/OICEW (Officer in Charge of Navigational/Engineering Watch, for Officers ONLY)
2. Medical Certificate (with valid STCW and National Expiration Dates)
3. Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
4. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
5. Job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Annual Full Pay Range: $111,082 - $161,820 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $53.20 - $77.50

The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
