Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children seeks a Simulation RN Educator to design, deliver, and evaluate multidisciplinary simulation activities.

You will prepare, maintain, inventory, and operate all simulation equipment, and work with leadership across clinical teams to ensure evidence-based standards. The role includes outreach to referring facilities, conducting learning needs assessments, and coordinating simulations at partner sites with hospital content experts.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification
• American Heart Association PALS and ACLS (commitment to obtain within two months of hire date)
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) preferred (commitment to obtain within 2 years of hire date)

Job description

The Simulation RN Educator supports experiential learning for healthcare workers through the design, delivery, and evaluation of multidisciplinary simulation activities. The Simulation RN Educator is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, inventory and operation of all simulation equipment/supplies. In this position, the RN works collaboratively with leadership and staff from all clinical disciplines to ensure evidence-based clinical standards and simulation best practices are reflected in all simulation activities and to ensure safe and effective use of the simulation equipment. The Simulation RN Educator plays a key role in outreach to referring facilities by performing learning needs assessments and coordinating simulation activities to take place at these facilities with the assistance of hospital content experts.

• Master's Degree - OR - BSN and currently enrolled in an MSN program
