Job summary

Johnson County Community College is seeking two adjunct nursing faculty to teach in the Zamierowski Center for Healthcare Simulation (ZCHS). The role involves facilitating learning in a high-fidelity simulation environment for ADN nursing students, coordinating with faculty and staff, and ensuring quality simulation experiences aligned with the nursing curriculum.

These are adjunct, on-site positions with a schedule of Monday–Friday totaling 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in nursing (BSN with experience also considered)
• Active RN license in Kansas or multi-state RN license
• Active BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Minimum of three years nursing experience in the last five years

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning in the Zamierowski Center for Healthcare Simulation (ZCHS).
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to integrate simulation activities.
• Set up and tear down simulation environments and lead preconference activities.
• Facilitate, debrief, and evaluate learners during high-fidelity simulation sessions.
