Job summary

BMA is seeking a Simulation Support Team Network Engineer to join our team at Camp Dodge near Des Moines, IA. This full-time Exempt position supports the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program and focuses on providing robust network design, configuration, and troubleshooting for JLCCTC and LOTS environments.

The role requires a Secret clearance and hands-on experience with LVC-G federations, Cisco switches, VMware networking, RMF/IA, and DoD 8570.01-M Level II.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the LVC-G field with federations, models, and Mission Command Systems.
• Working knowledge of Cisco Switches, VLAN Configuration, Multicast Technology, VMware networking.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in high-security environments and RMF/IA requirements.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Level II and IA training requirements.
• Must pass DISA INFOSEC Awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Provide networking support for MTC and exercise preparation.
• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and configure network connections and addresses.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain information assurance protocols for stimulation/simulation systems.
• Document network layouts and coordinate with Unit S6 for integration.
• Design, implement, and maintain network configurations for JLCCTC/LOTS.
• Respond to system questions and provide CM for software/hardware.
