Infinity Labs in Huntsville, AL is offering a Simulation Internship for motivated STEM students. You will work alongside engineers and scientists, contributing to digital models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools using AF SIM.

Gain hands-on experience, learn software development practices, and prepare for a future career in modeling and simulation. The position is on-site in a collaborative environment with parking and on-site amenities.

What You Will Do: You will work alongside professional engineers and scientists with various backgrounds and areas of expertise. Much of our work involves the use of or integration with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM). You will support the design, implementation, and testing of digital models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools for various government programs, commercial industry partnerships, and internal research and development efforts. In the process, you will develop an understanding of the modeling & simulation pyramid and how the different levels are connected. You will learn and grow professionally, with the opportunity to gain real-world experience and help solve challenging problems. • Be familiar with object-oriented programming principles and associated languages (e.g., C++, Python).
• Be familiar with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, JMP, Excel, etc.)
• Welcome the use of advanced mathematics combined with software development.
• Be comfortable as a domain visitor, able to comprehend the operations/performance of complex systems at a semi-technical level. Education/Credentials:

• Preferred majors include: Mechanical/Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
• US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
