Job summary

Hatalom is seeking a Simulation System Administrator I to support the Mission Training Complex at Fort Carson, CO. duties include configuring operating systems and simulation software, maintaining IA, and ensuring secure, reliable training environments for units.

You will work with government hardware/software, assist in installation, deployment, and operation, and coordinate with field reps to integrate simulations into C4I networks and provide a Common Operating Picture.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Information Technology or related field.
• Five years computer experience in information systems design and management; 3 additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Familiar with configurations, operations, and integration of mission command information systems including AFATDS, JADOCS, AMDWS, TAIS, JBCP, and CPCE
• Experience building COP using mission command info systems in a tactical operations center
• Experience planning and executing command post training exercises; IAT Level I and U.S. Citizen status.

• Assists in tracking and reporting system/software anomalies reported to system developers for correction.
• Integration: provide units with stimulation to C4I systems from a simulation training environment to produce Common Operating Picture
• Assist unit representatives and field support reps in understanding how simulations will integrate into the C4I networks to provide stimulation.
• Maintains information assurance protocols on stimulation/simulation systems including system lockdown procedures and software patches.

Summary

Hatalom is seeking a Simulation System Administrator I, in support of the Mission Training Complex (MTC) program on Ft. Carson, Colorado to provide units with a simulation training environment utilizing government provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of a simulation control plan. Assist team members in the installation, configuration and operation of the operating system(s), security and simulation software necessary to the training environment.

Responsibilities

• Must have a good understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
• Assists in the tracking and reporting of system / software anomalies that are reported to system developers for correction.
• (Integration) Provides units with stimulation to C4I systems from a simulation training environment to produce Common Operating Picture
• Assist unit representatives and field support representatives in understanding how simulations will integrate into the C4I networks to provide stimulation.
• Maintains necessary information assurance protocols on stimulation / simulation systems that includes but not limited to: System lockdown procedures, operating system patches, and stimulation / simulation software patches.

Requirements

• Minimum BA or BS degree in Information Technology or related field.
• (3) three additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree; Must have five years of computer experience in information systems design and management.
• Familiar with the configurations, operations, and integration of mission command information systems including AFATDS, JADOCS, AMDWS, TAIS, JBCP, and CPCE
• Experience with building the common operating picture using the mission command information systems while in a tactical operations center
• Experience with planning and executing command post training exercises
• Troubleshooting experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• IAT Level I certificate
• Active SECRET clearance
• U.S. Citizen

LOCATION: Fort Carson, CO - relocation assistance is not available for this position.
