Job summary

PEG Company in Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly Bartender to prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, while engaging guests and ensuring a clean, well-stocked bar.

You will maintain knowledge of menus, upsell premium products, follow safety rules, handle cash and POS, and work closely with servers and other kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Ability to obtain local alcohol beverage and/or food service certifications.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take drink and food orders.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain knowledge of menus to provide recommendations and upsell premium products.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and safety procedures.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system functions.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and inventory counts.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and F&B team members.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment and keep bar clean.
