Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort on Oregon's southern coast seeks a hospitality-driven bartender/bar staff member to ensure a safe, welcoming bar and lounge experience. You will serve signature cocktails, manage cash and POS tasks, and help keep the area organized and compliant with OLCC rules.

Applicants should be 21+, have an OLCC permit and a food handler's card, and demonstrate excellent customer service. This on-site role offers a supportive team and opportunities to grow within the resort.

Qualifications

• Must have friendly and approachable attitude to welcome guests and support the team.
• Experience in hospitality and customer service is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid OLCC permit and working knowledge of OLCC regulations.
• Must have a food handler's card and meet health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to navigate POS system and manage cash and paperwork.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar/lounge area safe, clean, and welcoming for guests and staff.
• Serve cocktails, cold drinks, and bites while fostering a lively atmosphere.
• Open and close the bar/lounge, manage side work, and ensure smooth operations.
• Practice responsible alcohol service and maintain guest safety and awareness.
• Maintain confidentiality of guests and team members at all times.
• Assist the team as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
