Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a Signal Support Systems Specialist to ensure reliable communications for units. You will integrate signal systems, perform maintenance on authorized equipment, and install and operate radio and data distribution systems.

Advanced team members supervise and train Soldiers, provide training for automation and communications equipment, and prepare maintenance requests for unit-level signal support.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain radio and data distribution systems
• Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
• Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
• Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators
