Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Signal Support Systems Specialist to integrate signal networks and maintain radio distribution systems. The role includes hands-on maintenance and training junior Soldiers.

You will install, operate, and troubleshoot communications equipment, provide technical assistance for LANs, and ensure security policies are followed. Training through Basic and Advanced Individual Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radio and data distribution systems is beneficial.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance concepts.
• Ability to follow safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain radio and data distribution systems
• Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
• Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
• Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators
