Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Signal Support Systems Specialist to ensure reliable communications and network support for units. You will install, operate, and maintain radio and data systems and provide technical assistance across local area networks.

Advanced roles may supervise teammates, train Soldiers, and assist with maintenance requests while earning a structured benefits package and career training in a disciplined military environment.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet age, citizenship requirements.
• Between ages 17 and 35 and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Requires military enlistment; MOS availability may affect assignment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain radio and data distribution systems
• Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
• Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
• Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators
