DC Army National Guard is seeking a Signal Support Systems Specialist to maintain radio and data distribution systems and provide technical assistance for LANs. You will train others, supervise and learn maintenance on signal equipment as part of a dynamic unit.

Expect hands-on duties, basic Soldiering skills during training, and opportunities for tuition assistance and benefits within the Army National Guard.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Enlistment in the Army National Guard is required or must have HS diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain radio and data distribution systems.
• Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks.
• Maintain equipment, terminal devices, vehicles, and power generators.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and services on assigned equipment.
