Job summary

Ace Technologies is seeking an experienced Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will perform SI analysis for PCIe, UCIe, and SerDes, analyze S-parameters, eye diagrams, and jitter, and conduct SI simulations with industry-standard tools.

You will collaborate with hardware and PCB layout teams on impedance matching, routing, termination, stack-up, and via design, while conducting lab measurements with oscilloscopes and VNAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant SI experience or equivalent advanced degree experience.
  • Strong knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance matching, equalization, SerDes, and UCIe.
  • Hands-on experience with SI simulation tools and lab equipment.
  • Strong PCB high-speed design/layout knowledge.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces including PCIe, UCIe, and SerDes.
  • Analyze S-parameters, insertion/return loss, crosstalk, eye diagrams, jitter, and equalization.
  • Conduct SI simulations using Ansys SIwave, HFSS, and Keysight ADS.
  • Work with hardware and PCB layout teams on impedance matching, routing, termination, stack-up, and via design.
  • Perform lab measurements and characterization using oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, and network analyzers.
  • Troubleshoot SI issues and participate in design reviews.
  • Develop and document SI guidelines, analysis results, and recommendations.
  • Ensure signal integrity for clocks, SPI, and I2C.
