Job summary

California State University Stanislaus in Turlock invites applications for Signal Editorial Staff - Student Assistant in the English Department. This temporary hourly-intermittent position begins no earlier than November 16, 2026 and ends on May 31, 2027, with possible reappointment based on budget and performance.

Responsibilities include attending weekly training with the lead editor, producing original content, scheduling and posting stories, and supporting budget and editorial tasks.

• Required: Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of AP Style.
  • It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates fluency in written and spoken word Spanish.
