Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Signal Support Systems Specialist to maintain and operate radio and data distribution systems and to integrate signal networks at unit level.

You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, provide technical support for computer systems and LANs, and help maintain equipment and vehicles in a military environment. This role offers paid training and clear paths to civilian electronics careers.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a HS diploma or GED.
• Age range 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Maintain radio and data distribution systems.
• Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems.
• Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks.
• Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, vehicles, and generators.
