FASTSIGNS #62001 in San Jose, CA seeks a Graphic Design Pre-Press Specialist for full-time, in-office work. The role focuses on preparing layouts and proofs, creating production files for specialized equipment, and collaborating with sales and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality visual signage.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in graphic design/pre-press, strong Illustrator skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining brand standards.

Competenze

• 2-3 years of graphic design and/or pre-press experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Advanced in Adobe Illustrator (Required)
• Ability to independently track and prioritize simultaneous projects
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organize, prioritize, and manage client files
• Able to lift 25 or more pounds
• Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-forth hand motions to produce graphics

• Prepare layouts and digital proofs for client projects, and create production files for output on a variety of equipment
• Collaborate with sales to provide visual solutions based on customer needs
• Work with fabrication team to plan output
• Follow precise guidelines including brand standards, ADA regulations and building code requirements
• Create or adjust layouts to satisfy customer goals
• Prepare accurate production files for machine requirements
• Balance creativity with efficiency
• Produce final products such as banners, yard signs, vinyl graphics, window graphics
• Hybrid position with in-office duties and hands-on production training
