Position Summary
The Sign Installer is responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional installation of commercial signage at customer and jobsite locations. This position works with the Install Manager, Project Managers, production departments, and other installers to ensure signs are installed according to approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
The position requires hands‑on mechanical ability, attention to detail, safe operation of installation equipment, and the ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions.
Primary Responsibilities
Equipment & Jobsite Responsibilities
Installers may be required to work from bucket trucks, aerial lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or other elevated work platforms. Work may also involve construction sites and active commercial properties.
Employees must properly use required personal protective equipment and follow fall‑protection, traffic‑control, electrical‑awareness, and equipment‑safety procedures applicable to the work being performed.

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position that may require standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Employees must be able to safely handle signage, tools, equipment, and installation materials appropriate to their assigned work.
Work is frequently performed outdoors and may involve heat, cold, wind, noise, uneven surfaces, construction environments, and work at elevated heights.
Performance Expectations
Installers are expected to arrive prepared for scheduled work, use company equipment responsibly, communicate jobsite problems promptly, and complete installations safely and professionally. Quality workmanship is expected, including proper alignment, secure mounting, clean installation, protection of customer property, and leaving the jobsite in an appropriate condition.
Installers are also expected to communicate accurately when an installation cannot be completed as planned so the Project Manager and Install Manager have the information necessary to resolve the issue and schedule any required return work.
