Job summary

3FM is hiring a Welder & Signage Fabricator in Omaha. The role focuses on fabricating aluminum and steel sign components, frames, cabinets, and structures. You will perform MIG and TIG welding with an emphasis on clean, high-quality welds and read detailed fabrication drawings.

Beyond welding, responsibilities include general fabrication, electrical assembly, woodworking, finishing, and occasional installation support while maintaining safety and tool readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• TIG welding experience, especially aluminum.
• Ability to read measurements and fabrication drawings.
• Reliable attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
• Able to fit and assemble components before final welding.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aluminum and steel sign cabinets, frames, structures, brackets, and components.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding for production-quality welds.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and project specs.
• Measure, cut, fit, weld, grind, and finish components to tolerances.
• Operate metalworking equipment (saws, drills, grinders, shears, punches).
• Assist with field installation and review drawings/status via tablets or laptops.
