Job summary

FASTSIGNS is hiring a sign technician to build and install signs and graphics. You will assemble, erect and hang items in diverse settings, using a range of hand tools. Overtime is available and training opportunities exist within a global brand.

Ideal candidates have problem-solving skills, can work independently, and can lift at least 50 lbs. Prior sign installation/production experience is a plus. Monday–Friday hours are common.

Responsibilities

• Build and install signs or graphics in a fast-paced setting.
• Assemble, erect and hang signs in various environments indoors and outdoors.
• Use a variety of hand tools to complete installations.
• Travel to sites to install or repair signs as needed.

As a sign technician, you’ll play an important role in building the finished sign or graphic. Once built, you will install the sign, in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out. Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary. Most of your days will be spent thinking, moving, lifting and building for a wide variety of sign applications.

When not installing or repairing in the field, you will be building signs in our state of the art climate controlled facility in Mount Pleasant.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
