Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor in Orlando, FL seeks a Construction Crew Member to perform physical labor, welding and cutting of metal, and operate vehicles/equipment for outdoor advertising structures.

Responsibilities include assembling, installing, maintaining, upgrading and removing sign structures, reading blueprints, and working with a crew chief. Preferred: high school diploma/GED and construction experience; OSHA, rigging, crane operation, and welding certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• 1+ year of construction or related experience preferred.
• Certifications such as Rigger, NCCCO Crane Operator, OSHA 10/30, welding certificate (D1.1) preferred.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, maintain, upgrade, and remove outdoor advertising structures under crew chief guidance.
• Operate trucks, metal cutting/welding tools, power and hand tools safely.
• Complete job-related paperwork (timecards, work orders, safety checks).
• Assist crew chief and team with site tasks and issues.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials for tasks.
• Repair and maintain welding and cutting supplies and equipment.
• Instruct others on work processes, safety, and best practices.
• Ensure proper fit and assembly of sign structure components.
• Prime and finish welded material; keep work area clean.
• Install, remove, and adjust outdoor displays of vinyl/wood or other materials.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of rented equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
