Candidates should be safety-minded and comfortable working outdoors and at heights in all weather conditions. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

SIGN SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

N.A.S. Sign Company is seeking a dependable, hardworking Sign Service & Install Technician to join our team full-time. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in electrical work, sign service, HVAC, technical service, construction, carpentry, or related building trades. Experience with metal fabrication is helpful but not required.

This position involves both shop and field work, including sign installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication assistance, and emergency service calls. Applicants must be safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights in all weather conditions.

Pay & Benefits

• Full-Time Position
• $20.00- $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on your feet all day
• Comfortable working outdoors in rain, snow, cold, and windy conditions
• Lift and handle 10–50 lb. signs regularly
• Work safely on:
• Ladders (10'–25')
• Bucket trucks (15'–75')
• Scaffolding
• Scissor lifts and other aerial equipment
• Use power tools safely and effectively
• Good vision and hand coordination required
• Must be able to drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to tow and drive trailers

Skills & Qualifications

• Learn and follow OSHA sign safety procedures
• Plan and schedule materials and labor weekly
• Install and service fluorescent, neon, and LED signage
• Knowledge of fasteners and wall construction types
• Cut and braze steel using torches
• Welding experience preferred
• Basic sheet metal layout, fabrication, and welding (MIG/aluminum)
• Plastic fabrication and assembly
• Read blueprints, architectural, structural, and electrical drawings
• Understand structural and installation concepts
• Paint plastics, metals, and wood surfaces
• Basic primary electrical knowledge
• Neon and fluorescent secondary electrical troubleshooting
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Complete work orders, time sheets, and job reports accurately
• Follow company policies and procedures consistently
