Job summary

Signage Needs, LLC is seeking a Production Assistant to help in the printing and production of client sign projects. The role is based in San Antonio, Texas, with duties in both office and production warehouse.

The candidate will set up print and cut jobs, maintain equipment, and ensure quality while coordinating with designers and clients. A background in production processes and reliable delivery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Production Assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in running jobs on printers, cutters, laminators, or routers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of production processes and materials used in sign creation.
• Must pass a background check and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up print and cut jobs.
• Maintain printers, laminators, cutters, and routers.
• Cut and assemble signs as needed.
• Pack, ship, or deliver finished items.
• Maintain items in the warehouse.
• Set up and execute jobs as provided by designer for the targeted equipment with the proper materials.
• Cut printed materials as needed either manually, using a panel saw, or using a router.
• Maintain all equipment making sure printer heads are clean and all items are functioning properly.
• Assemble signs as needed.
• This includes screwing coroplast signs onto metal stakes.
• Pack up signs as needed for shipping making sure signs or products will not be damaged.
• Pack up signs or products for delivery and deliver them to client locations.
• Make sure all products meet the clients standards for quality and consistency.
• Maintain items in the warehouse and notify team members when we are running low on inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
