Job summary

AlphaGraphics Knox Street | Park Cities | North Dallas is seeking a full-time Sign Production Specialist to print and finish large format signage and prepare items for installation. You will read job tickets, process files with Onyx RIP, and manage finishing steps such as lamination and mounting.

The role requires 3+ years in the sign industry and the ability to lift 65 pounds. The team environment is fast-paced and customer-focused; comprehensive training and benefits are offered, including

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the sign industry.
• Knowledge of print media and laminates.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 65 pounds or more and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read job tickets and produce jobs as described.
• Process files with Onyx RIP and scale/tiling as necessary.
• Finish printed signs: plotting, weeding, laminating, mounting.
• Package and label finished signs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and file issues as necessary.
• Perform equipment maintenance as required.
• Operate Roll-to-Roll printers, plotter, laminator, flatbed printer and cutters.
• Monitor media and ink supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Our work environment is fast-paced and team oriented. AlphaGraphics currently has an opening for a full-time experienced Sign Production Specialist.

Working in this position you will be responsible for printing and finishing large format signage as well as preparing items for installation.

Responsibilities

• Reading job tickets and producing jobs as described
• Processing files through Onyx RIP software and scaling/tiling as necessary
• Finishing printed signs as required: plotting, weeding, laminating and mounting
• Packaging and labeling finished signs
• Troubleshooting equipment and file issues as necessary
• Performing equipment maintenance as required
• Operating Roll-to-Roll Printers, Plotter, Laminator, Flatbed Printer and Flatbed Cutters
• Monitor media and ink supplies as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work area
