Job summary

FASTSIGNS is hiring a full-time Sign Production Specialist. The role involves following layouts to apply vinyl and full-color graphics, preparing substrates, and finishing printed pieces.

You will read Work Orders, proof for errors, and maintain storage areas while supporting inventory management. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of sign production experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or graphic images on a substrate.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images.
• Read Work Orders and proof for errors or standards.
• Finish by laminating and/or mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock to management.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
