Signarama Laguna Hills is seeking a hands-on team member to design, produce, and install high-quality signs and graphics while delivering friendly, professional service in person and by phone. The role covers design, production, installation at customer sites, and daily store support to ensure quality and efficiency.

You'll greet customers, prepare estimates and invoices, maintain materials, and participate in in-store training.

Responsibilities

• Sign Design & Production: Design and create signs and graphics; weed, mask, and apply vinyl; print, mount, trim and finish digital graphics.
• Installation & Site Visits: Travel to customer locations within the community to assess work areas, prepare estimates, and install signs.
• Customer Service & Store Support: Greet customers, answer phones, complete layouts, price estimates, invoices, and assist with store operations.
• Training: Complete in-store training covering front-counter sales, sign products, production techniques, and procedures.

SUMMARY

In this hands-on role, you will design, produce, and install high-quality signs and graphics while providing friendly, professional service to customers in person and by phone. You will represent the Signarama brand with professionalism and take pride in the quality of your work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sign Design & Production

• Design and create a variety of signs and graphics.
• Weed, mask, and apply vinyl to various substrates.
• Print, mount, trim, and finish digital graphics and signage.
• Use an X-Acto knife and ruler accurately and safely.
• Load and operate a cold-pressure laminator using established safety procedures.
• Load vinyl and operate a cutting plotter.
• Load media and inks into digital printing equipment and produce quality prints.
• Move and handle raw materials, sheets, and rolls used in sign production.
• Operate a vertical panel saw using established safety procedures.
• Maintain production equipment in good working order.

Installation & Site Visits

• Travel to customer locations within the community to assess work areas, prepare estimates, and install signs.
• Apply vehicle and window graphics.
• Follow safe work practices during all installation activities.

Customer Service & Store Support

• Greet customers and answer phones in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Accurately complete sign layout forms, price estimates, and invoices.
• Assist with daily store operations and management tasks as needed.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of materials and supplies.
• Keep the store and production areas clean, organized, and professional.

Training

• Complete in-store training covering front-counter sales, sign products, production techniques, Key Lines, and procedures outlined in the Owner’s Manual.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn the software used in sign design and production.
• Ability to pass basic math and spelling assessments.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work professionally with customers and team members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely climb ladders and handle signs during installation.
• Ability to retrieve and move substrates from storage racks, including upper shelves.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
