A signage and graphic design firm in Gaithersburg seeks a skilled sign installation professional. This role offers a blend of training and hands-on work, focusing on installing signs and conducting site surveys. You will learn to operate equipment essential for sign installation, while maintaining customer relationships. The position offers flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with pay based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with installations.
• Driver's License and US work authorization required.
• Experience using hand tools like drills and screwdrivers.
• Comfortable working on tall ladders.
• Can dig post holes, pour concrete.
• Apply vinyl to windows and walls.
• Experience using hand tools e.g. drills, screwdrivers, saw, tape measures, levels, other manual, electric, and pneumatic tools.

What you will do and how you will grow

Initial focus will be in learning installation procedures, techniques to safety install or replace channel letters, pylon faces, post & panel signs, LED signs etc. During this time you will start conducting site surveys, identify equipment and labor time required to complete the work.

At the same time we will train you to work with vinyl including learning how to operate large format printers, and install vinyl on walls, windows and vehicles.

Basic Qualifications

• Driver's License (Required)
• US work authorization (Required)

Job Type: Part-time/ full time. Pay is commensurate with experience.
