FASTSIGNS #51101 is seeking a full-time Sign Production Specialist / Graphic Designer to handle multiple projects from concept to completion. This role combines sign production duties with graphic design tasks, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work on various substrates and materials.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of sign production experience, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented to ensure every part of a project comes out correctly the first time.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.
• Experience in graphic design / print production, using PC and Mac.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Knowledge of a variety of graphics programs and output devices such as vinyl plotters, large-format printers, and laminators.
• Strong math and proof-reading skills, including spelling and grammar.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Prompt, reliable and responsible.

Responsabilités

• Loads materials on/into printers, table router, laser cutter and engraver, with potential heavy lifting.
• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a substrate.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; use appropriate techniques by size and type.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality checks and proofing against Work Orders.
• Finish by laminating and mounting printed pieces as needed.
• Assist with on-site and off-site installations.
• Report inventory levels and reorder stock to managers.
• Prepare layouts, mockups, proofs and copy for print reproduction.
