Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry duties, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are clean and returned promptly. The role requires ability to lift 50+ pounds and to follow both written and spoken instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must follow written and oral cleaning/laundry instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process laundry items for residents daily.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute clean laundry to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.
• Coordinate with nursing staff on daily laundry services.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
