Epic Special Education Staffing partners with a school district to hire a contract Sign Language Interpreter for the 2026-2027 school year in Columbia, SC. This is an on-site, full-time role with a 37.50-hour workweek. Duration ASAP through 05/28/2027.

Requirements include 1 year of verifiable interpreting experience within the last 3 years and a valid Sign Language Interpreter credential. Eligibility to work in the United States is required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Sign Language Interpreter for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Duration: ASAP - 05/28/2027

Location: Columbia, SC

Location Type: On-Site

Schedule: Full Time

Hours: 37.50

Grade/Age Levels: Elementary School;High School;Kindergarten;Middle School

Weekly Pay Range: $36.85 - $42.17 per hour on a local contract

QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications for Sign Language Interpreter:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or in process in state of practice
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
