Soliant is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) in/near Everson, WA for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite, full-time role supports a middle school student (1:1) and requires active SLI credentials.

You will facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and staff, ensuring access to instruction and activities. Competitive hourly pay, benefits, and recruiter support accompany the assignment.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• Onsite Position
• 2026-2027 School Year
• Dates: August 31, 2026 – June 11, 2027
• 1 Opening Available

Caseload Information

• Middle School Setting
• Supporting a 7th Grade Student (1:1)
• Provide interpreting services to ensure access to classroom instruction and school-related activities

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
• Provide accurate sign language interpretation in educational settings
• Support student access to academic instruction and school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school and district guidelines

Qualifications

• Active Sign Language Interpreter credentials as required by state and district regulations
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families

Additional Information

The Director is expected to begin conducting interviews between June 5-15, 2026.

Compensation
