Job summary

Arapahoe Sign Arts in Denver, CO is hiring a full-time Exterior Sign Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience installing, maintaining, and servicing architectural signs, including vinyl, letters, and monument signs.

The role blends indoor production with on-site client work. The position requires wiring, troubleshooting, reading plans, and working at heights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in installation, maintenance, and service of signs.
• Ability to read architectural and site plans.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service exterior signs at client sites.
• Perform low voltage wiring, connections, and troubleshooting.
• Work at heights and operate lifts; lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to Front-Range areas.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and project teams; read plans.

Job description

• A Denver architectural sign company is looking to hire a full-time Exterior sign installer to join our growing Team. Our company offers a full benefits package including Health, Vision, and Dental insurance, cafeteria plan, and paid Holidays.
• Highly motivated, attentive, and punctual Sign installer with a ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience in the installation, maintenance, and service of signs; Architectural interior ADA room signage, vinyl application, dimensional letters, parking garage, channel letters, monument signs, post & panel signs - but are also open to entertaining bringing on highly motivated potential candidates.
• Performs services such as low voltage wiring, connections and troubleshooting, cleaning, painting, bulb replacement, comfortable working at heights from ladders, trucks, and aerial lift equipment, and ability to lift heavy loads of 50lbs regularly, and 75+ occasionally.
• Working conditions are roughly 1/4 time inside a manufacturing environment, and ¾ time in client environments including interiors of office buildings, medical facilities, and other outside environments such as construction sites within a variety of weather conditions. Some occasional travel in and out of region may be necessary
• Easy-going, adaptable personality, positive outgoing attitude, quality conscious. Proactive and "Pick up the broom" Mentality, self-driven. Strong verbal and written communication skills and works well with other team members.
• Thorough knowledge of materials, technology and installation techniques
• Ability to read and understand Architectural and Site plans, use learn to use manufacturing facility job tracking software.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and submit to a mandatory background check.
• Calm, professional and diplomatic, well-mannered and polite. Flexibility to occasionally work overtime, sometimes with little or no notice.
