Job summary

FASTSIGNS Oakland is seeking a hands-on Sign Installer to deliver high-quality signage and graphics to clients across the Bay Area. The role requires reliability, self-motivation, physical ability, and a willingness to learn the trade.

Prior sign or construction experience is a plus, but motivated candidates with strong soft skills are welcome. You will install letters, vinyl graphics, ADA signage, and vehicle wraps, prepare sites, and ensure safe, accurate installations while collaborating with

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in signage, construction, or carpentry helpful but not required if you're reliable.
Familiarity with sign types, mounting methods, and fasteners is a plus.
Comfort using ladders, lifts, drills, and hand tools and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

Sign Installation: Install dimensional letters, vinyl graphics, ADA signage, and more on various surfaces.
Site Prep & Assessment: Review project data to plan installs and confirm measurements.
Shop Prep: Prepare signs and materials before installs and organize hardware.
Tools & Equipment: Safely operate tools and maintain equipment.
Problem Solving: Address uneven surfaces or mounting limitations safely.
Documentation & Communication: Complete logs and communicate status to clients.
Safety: Follow safety protocols and keep areas clean.
