Job summary

FASTSIGNS is seeking a confident and energetic Sign Installer / Construction Installer to join our team in South King County. You will install finished signs and graphics on walls, vehicles, ceilings, or outdoors, using hand and power tools with care and precision.

You should have installation experience or a strong construction background; vinyl applications and vehicle graphics experience are highly valued. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Installation experience preferred but training available for strong construction/handy background.
• Must be able to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and verify them (TWICE) before starting.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform offsite sign and vinyl installations.
• Use hand and power tools to install signs and graphics.
• Assess sites and determine required tools and materials.
• Ensure installations are secure and meet quality standards.

Job description

FastSigns #280601 is hiring for a confident, fun, energetic Sign Installer / Construction Installer to join our team! As an Installer, you’ll get finished signs and graphics installed correctly and professionally — in the ground, on walls, vehicles, or hanging from ceilings. You’ll use hand and power tools to assemble, install, and hang items inside and out throughout South King County.

This is a hands‑on, construction-oriented position for someone who enjoys working with tools and applying creative, practical installation techniques to get the job done safely and professionally.

Installation experience is highly preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate with a strong background in construction, skilled trades, or hands‑on work. Construction, carpentry, electrical, fabrication, or other skilled trade experience is also a strong plus. Experience with vinyl applications, including vehicle graphics, floor graphics, and wall graphics, is highly valued.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Installer Is:

• Responsible for offsite sign and vinyl installations
• Experienced and confident using hand and power tools
• Construction‑minded and comfortable understanding how materials, structures, and mounting systems work together
• Able to assess an installation and determine the appropriate tools, materials, and techniques
• Able to apply creative and practical installation techniques when standard approaches don’t fit
• Comfortable taking measurements and verifying them (TWICE) before starting
• Comfortable lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing ladders, and working overhead
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Takes pride in quality workmanship

Ideal Qualifications:

• Clean driving record
• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Previous sign installation, construction, carpentry, electrical, fabrication, or related field installation experience preferred
• Vinyl application experience, including vehicle graphics, floor graphics, and wall graphics preferred
• Experience installing signs, graphics, fixtures, or other finished products preferred
• Scissor lift experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment
