Job summary

Yellow Frog Graphics is seeking a Sign Installer to handle interior and exterior signage installations at customer sites. The role requires welding/torch experience and a solid grasp of mounting methods and wiring routing, with travel up to 10% for installations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and 2+ years of sign installer experience; CDL within 90 days is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR; ability to obtain Class B CDL within 90 days.
• 2+ years of sign installer experience preferred.
• Experience operating aerial lift truck is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install interior and exterior signage at customer locations as specified.
• Review jobs with Production Manager and coordinate installation timing.
• Assist with on-site signage inspection and measurements.
• Load/transport signs, tools and materials safely.
• Prepare sites by removing old signs and securing electrical connections.
• Ensure proper placement, connection and mounting of signs.
• Maintain clean work area and wear PPE.
• Occasionally travel up to 10% for installations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Yellow Frog Graphics is a premier provider of custom vehicle graphics and wraps. We are looking for a Sign Installer. Must be well versed in all forms of wall signs and pole signs with welding/torch experience and have a good understanding of various building construction situations pertaining to mounting methods and routing wiring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installation of interior and exterior signage at customer locations as specified.
• Work closely with Production Manager to review upcoming jobs, track timing schedules and coordinate the installation trip(s).
• Assist with on-site signage inspection and sign measuring tasks.
• Load and transport signs, tools and materials to the location safely.
• Prepare the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.
• Ensure effective measurement, placement, connection and installation of the sign.
• Welding. (MIG, TIG and Aluminum)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep company equipment in good order.
• Maintain and wear all required personal protective safety equipment.
• Overnight travel to customer locations up to 10% of the time to safely install and service signage.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to operate simple to complex tools and heavy-duty machinery.
• Requires the ability to work at heights using a ladder and/or mechanical/aerial lift.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing and ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days of employment.
• 2+ years of sign installer experience preferred.
• Experience operating aerial lift truck desired.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
• Keen attention to detail, strong work ethic and a great attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
