Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Sign Installer role based in Romeoville, IL, with some work-from-home tasks possible for planning, documentation, and coordination. The Sign Installer is responsible for installing interior and exterior signs, graphics, and displays at client locations, ensuring accurate placement, secure mounting, and a professional finish. Daily activities include reading and interpreting installation drawings, measuring and marking surfaces, operating hand and power tools, and safely handling materials and equipment. The role also involves coordinating with project managers and production teams, performing on-site inspections, troubleshooting installation issues, and completing basic maintenance or repairs on installed signage. The Sign Installer is expected to follow safety protocols, maintain tools and vehicles in good condition, and provide courteous, service-oriented interaction with clients during on-site work.

Qualifications

• Practical skills in sign installation, including measuring, layout, mounting, and finishing for interior and exterior signage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and installation instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, and related equipment, with a focus on safe operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills for addressing on-site installation challenges and making adjustments as needed.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with project managers, production staff, and clients.
• Physical ability to lift materials, work at heights, and perform tasks in various indoor and outdoor environments.
