Job summary

Wolverine Sign Works is seeking a Sign Installer to join a small, collaborative team. We are a family-owned outdoor advertising business with billboards across the Midwest. A friendly, hardworking candidate will become a valuable member of our company.

The role involves outdoor work, billboard vinyl face installations, tool use, and driving a company truck to sites. Overnight stays are required periodically with hotel accommodations and per diem.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds and work outdoors.
• Must hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License.
• Construction experience is an asset.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• CDL preferred; receive and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install vinyl faces on billboards.
• Operate power or manual tools and follow safety regulations.
• Travel to site locations in company truck.
• Work in teams, primarily two-person crews.
• Occasional overnight stays with hotel and per diem; 40 hours weekly.

Job Overview

Wolverine Sign Works is seeking a Sign Installer to join our small, collaborative team. We are a family-owned and -operated outdoor advertising business with billboards across the Midwest. We are looking for a friendly, hard working individual to become a valuable member of our company.

Responsibilities and Duties

• The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Installing vinyl faces on billboards
• Use power/manual tools, must adhere to all safety regulations
• Driving a company truck to site locations
• Must be willing to work and get along well with others. Work mostly in 2 man teams.
• Usually Monday-Thursday - 40 hours a week (overtime possible)
• Overnights are required (on average 4-6 days per month) we cover the hotel and give you a per diem
• 90 day probationary period

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Friendly, reliable and professional with good attendance
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
• Must be able to travel and hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License (required)
• Experience in a construction environment is an asset
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening test
• Ability to receive work instructions and follow tasks
• Comfortable with and ability to work with tall ladders & scaffolds and dig post holes occasionally
• Class A CDL preferred
