Job Overview

At Capital City Signs, we make and install custom business signage - from small door plaques to large illuminated displays. It's a unique, creative and sometimes challenging field of construction. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. This role will be a supporting installation technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Join us in delivering exceptional service through quality installations!

Responsibilities

• Install products according to company standards and client specifications. Ability to take direction/comprehend plans/permits.
• Conduct thorough inspections of your work to ensure quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot and communicate any issues that arise during the installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be able to use power tools & shop equipment. Having own tools preferred.
• Valid driver's license IS required.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
• Training/experience in similar trades/construction (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring/foundations, fabrication etc) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
