Job summary

FASTSIGNS #69908 is hiring an Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you’ll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out.

Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary! Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production
• Experience in install preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sign installation
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all offsite sign and print media installations
• Able to assess an environment for the needs and techniques of the installation
• Reviews job requirements and verifies measurements before starting
• Able to work independently and with other team members when required
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; techniques vary with size and complexity
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by reading a Work Order and proofreading
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to the center manager/production manager or franchisee
• Clean and maintain storage areas
