Job summary

Sedona Staffing San Diego is seeking a Sign Installation Professional for a direct hire role located near Oceanside. Typical hours are 7am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work as required.

• Strong knowledge of sign installation methods and materials.
• Ability to read shop drawings, plans, and work orders.
• Basic electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Must lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, remove, and replace interior and exterior signage.
• Review and organize job materials, tools, equipment, and installation requirements prior to arriving on-site.
• Follow installation instructions, shop drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, measurements, and installation plans.
• Complete all necessary pre-installation preparation and processes.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and company vehicles.
• Perform basic electrical work associated with illuminated signage.
• Conduct site surveys and assist with permit inspections as required.
• Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, project specifications, and applicable local codes.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, contractors, and team members on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean, safe, and working condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and OSHA/worksite requirements.
• Assist with shop-related projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sign Installation Professional - Direct Hire

Direct Hire Opportunity

Location – Near Oceanside

Hours: Monday through Friday, typically from ~7am to 3:30pm, but could vary. Ability to work OT as required. Occasional weekend work required.

• Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and find practical solutions in the field.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and instructions.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow established shop and job-site safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work at heights as required.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required, if operating company vehicles.

Compensation : Expected Hourly Range: $35.00 - $40.00 Hr - DOE
