Job summary

FASTSIGNS is seeking a Production Specialist to handle sign and graphics fabrication, painting, and finishing for storefronts, vehicles, and walls in a busy shop. You’ll operate the laser engraver, Zund cutter, laminator, and vinyl cutter, and contribute to quality craftsmanship in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include manufacturing, finishing, painting, logistics, and maintaining safety and workspace standards while delivering high-quality signs on deadline.

Qualifications

• Experience in sign and graphics production required.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong math, measurement, and detail orientation.
• Ability to read work orders and installation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Operate the laser engraver, Zund router, laminator, and vinyl cutter.
• Assembly & Finishing: Prepare substrates, assemble signs, apply vinyl, and perform finishing operations.
• Painting: Prepare and paint various materials.
• Logistics: Load/unload, package, and stage materials for production and installation.
• Workspace Care: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools.
• Equipment Care: Troubleshoot and maintain equipment, report on equipment and inventory.
• Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and quality throughout production and installation.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and operate tools and vehicles responsibly.
• Collaboration: Work with team to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
