Job summary

ASI Signage Innovations in North Carolina's fabrication facility seeks an experienced sign fabricator to produce signs and components using MIG and TIG welding, cut aluminum, and assemble signs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include thoroughly reviewing work orders, interpreting drawings, supporting quality control, and creating fabrication plans for each sign while maintaining strict safety and OSHA compliance. Overtime and weekend availability may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of (sign) fabrication preferred.
• Proven aptitude for working with welding equipment.
• Able to MIG and TIG weld.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task on multiple projects.

Job description

The sign fabricator is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of ASI Signage, North Carolina’s metal fabrication department by producing signs and sign components using mig and tig welding techniques, cutting aluminum and building signs.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly reviews each work order prior to beginning work.
• Possess a working knowledge of (sign) fabrication
• Assist in Quality Control – confirms signage conforms to work order specifications
• Comprise fabrication plan for each sign, and/or project
• Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment and procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines along with ASI safety rules and policies.
• Adheres to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal.
• Works independently or as part of the overall production team.
• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Performs other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements
