Job summary

Apogee Signs, Midway’s leading sign company known for exceptional quality, seeks a talented Sign Fabricator to turn designs into durable signs for clients across Tallahassee and beyond.

In this role you will work with metal, wood, plastic and vinyl, interpret specifications with the team, select materials, operate fabrication tools, and contribute to high-quality finishes with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in sign fabrication or related fields such as metalworking.
• Proficient in various fabrication techniques and knowledgeable about safety protocols.
• Experienced in using both hand and power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with the materials commonly used in sign making is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to execute tasks precisely.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality craftsmanship and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and installation teams to interpret sign specifications and identify fabrication requirements.
• Select materials (metal, wood, plastic, vinyl) for each project based on design and function.
• Operate tools and machinery (saws, drills, routers, benders) to cut, shape, and assemble sign components.
• Use welding, bending, and forming to construct robust sign structures.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing with sanding/priming and assist with graphics and lettering.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace; manage tools and materials.
• Assist with additional tasks to support team goals.

Role Overview:

As a Sign Fabricator, you will be essential in the production of high-quality signs by converting design concepts into tangible products. This role demands a dedicated craftsperson adept at handling various materials and fabrication techniques with precision.

Key Responsibilities
