Job summary

SAIC is seeking a SIGINT Systems Engineer in Aurora, CO to provide end-to-end systems engineering across the lifecycle of the Prime Program, Aretuza. The role includes coordinating CONOPS, translating customer needs into Epics/Features, and acting as an integrator across complex interfaces with developers and operations teams.

Responsibilities emphasize assessing designs, managing schedules, and conducting readiness and demonstrations in an agile, evolving defense environment.

• Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator.
• Evaluate system designs and trade-space in coordination with acquisition offices.
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
• Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies.
• Identify risks and opportunities.
• Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations.
• Review RFCs and author RFCs for the customer.
• Support Agile and DevOps test and verification.
• Integrate new systems and initiatives for SIGINT capabilities with developers and users.

Job description

SAIC is seeking SIGINT Systems Engineer to support SAIC’s Prime Program, Aretuza in Aurora, CO. Aretuza is SAIC's large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

Responsibilities to include:

• Provide subject matter expertise and agile best practices to our team; as well as perform the following functions as a SIGINT Systems Engineer, by using a holistic approach and providing end-to-end systems engineering throughout our systems’ lifecycle:
• Coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems.
• Write and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needs.
• Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator.
• Evaluate system designs and trade-space proposed and implemented by our developers, while working in coordination with the acquisition offices (AOs).
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
• Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies.
• Identify risks and opportunities.
• Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and increments.
• Review Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts, in addition author RFCs for the customer.
• Support Agile and DevOps automated test and verification (V&V).
• Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission planning and scheduling capabilities, work directly with our developers and users in operations!
• Participate in studies looking at the future generation of SIGINT capabilities spanning the next decade.
