Job summary

The Ascendancy Group LTD in Nashville seeks a SIGINT Analyst to apply signals intelligence expertise across all-source analysis, operational planning, and decision support for the customer. This is a full-time role contingent upon contract award.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, formal SIGINT training, and the ability to produce timely, concise reports and briefings. You will fuse SIGINT with other disciplines and coordinate with collection managers to refine requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience related to this labor category, with recent work preferred
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Formal SIGINT analyst training from a military service or Intelligence Community school
• Knowledge of IC and DoW classification guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work semi independently with oversight and direction
• Ability to defend judgments with sound, logical conclusions
• Ability to produce timely, logical reports and briefings using Microsoft Office tools
• Strong grammar skills in written communication
• Structured research and data handling within security and data protocols
• Ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions in information

As a SIGINT Analyst, you will apply signals intelligence expertise to support all source analysis, operational planning, and decision making for the customer. Employment type Full time; contingent upon contract award.

Security Requirement

Current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Produce timely reports, assessments, and briefings for analysts, planners, and leadership.
• Work with collection managers to develop, refine, and evaluate SIGINT requirements.

Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience related to this labor category, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; 7 years of direct experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Formal SIGINT analyst training from a military service or Intelligence Community school.
• Working knowledge of the concepts and functions of this labor category.
• Knowledge of IC and DoW classification guidelines and procedures, and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to work semi independently with oversight and direction.
• Ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information, and to defend judgments with sound, logical conclusions.
• Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, assessments, and briefing materials using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with strong grammar skills.
• Ability to conduct structured research and maintain information within security and data protocols.
• Ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.

Desired:

• Experience supporting Joint or special operations organizations.
• Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint environment.
• Experience in a deployed environment.
