Job summary

Sarasota County is hiring an entry-level Attendant for Siesta Key Beach. You will clean and maintain beaches, operate light equipment, track inventory, and lead volunteer projects. This full-time role requires outdoor work in all seasons and may involve overtime during peak times.

Paid at $18.57/hour with benefits beginning within 60 days of hire; a Florida driver’s license is required, and physical duties may include lifting up to 50 pounds. Holidays and weekend shifts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Clean and help maintain beaches, picnic areas, parking lots, playgrounds, restroom facilities, buildings, etc.
• Operate light automotive equipment, UTVs, light landscape equipment, and hand tools.
• Track inventory.
• Complete routine maintenance projects.
• Lead volunteer groups and projects.
