Job description

Are you a Siemens Teamcenter professional who wants to have a visible impact on a multi-year PLM transformation while helping create a best-in-class engineering systems environment? If so, we need to connect!

Our client is a global manufacturer serving highly engineered industrial markets. With operations across North America and Europe, they design and manufacture complex products that support critical transportation, industrial, and infrastructure applications worldwide.

The organization is currently investing heavily in the modernization and expansion of its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment and is seeking a Siemens Teamcenter professional to help support and drive this transformation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Siemens Teamcenter professional who wants to move beyond day-to-day administration and play a key role in shaping the future of an enterprise PLM environment.

The successful candidate will be a functional Siemens Teamcenter expert supporting engineering teams across multiple locations and will help lead data migration, process standardization, CAD integration improvements, and the continued growth of Teamcenter capabilities across the business.

You will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, CAD support teams, and global PLM stakeholders to ensure data integrity, improve workflows, and establish scalable best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide functional administration and support for Siemens Teamcenter
  • Support engineering teams with daily PLM-related issues and requests
  • Create and maintain queries, workflows, user access, and lifecycle management processes
  • Troubleshoot Teamcenter-related issues and collaborate with internal and global support teams to resolve them
  • Validate and troubleshoot CAD assemblies and datasets within NX, Creo, and SolidWorks environments
  • Support migration efforts from legacy PLM systems into Teamcenter
  • Clean, standardize, and maintain engineering data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and best practices
  • Drive process improvements and support adoption of PLM standards across multiple sites
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, CAD administration, and IT teams to improve system performance and user experience
  • Contribute to long-term PLM initiatives including workflow optimization, engineering change management, and future system integrations
Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering organizations within a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Teamcenter workflows, lifecycle states, datasets, and query management
  • Familiarity with BMIDE concepts and Teamcenter configuration
  • Experience supporting engineering product structures and EBOMs
  • Ability to open, review, and troubleshoot CAD assemblies in:
  • PTC Creo
  • SolidWorks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and guide engineering users
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data migration and data cleansing experience
  • Windchill or SmarTeam migration experience
  • MBOM knowledge
  • Power BI experience
  • Experience supporting PLM transformation initiatives
What Success Looks Like

We're looking for someone who can become a trusted Teamcenter expert and business partner, not simply a system administrator.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable:

  • Supporting engineers and manufacturing teams
  • Influencing process improvements and best practices
  • Driving user adoption and workflow compliance
  • Solving complex PLM challenges
  • Working across global teams and multiple business units
  • Taking ownership of the Teamcenter environment and helping guide its future growth

The role is currently open to someone who would like to live in and work a hybrid schedule in either Jackson, TN | Hibbing, MN | Northampton, England. Travel to the other two locations is mandatory during the implementation and migration phase, no matter which location you choose to live in, so a valid passport must be obtained if not already available.
