Job summary

Zync. is seeking a SIEM Consultant (Microsoft Sentinel) to lead Azure-based SIEM deployments for a major enterprise in Germany. The role emphasizes high-trust, flexible work with strong development support in a long-term project.

The candidate will design and optimise Microsoft Sentinel solutions, develop detections and data onboarding, and advise on cloud security architecture while communicating with senior stakeholders. This position offers remote work with Germany-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• German language at C1 level required.
• Experience as IT Security Consultant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM technologies, especially Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of security architectures and monitoring concepts.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise SIEM solutions using Microsoft Sentinel.
• Develop and maintain detection rules, automation workflows and use cases.
• Onboard data sources within Azure environments, including Log Analytics Workspaces and Data Lakes.
• Advise on broader security architecture within cloud environments.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices and continuous improvement of security operations.

SIEM Consultant (Microsoft Sentinel) – €90k (fixed-term 1 year, possible extension) – Germany (90% Remote) – 6019

Company: I'm working with a growing cybersecurity consultancy that delivers high‑impact security solutions into large, complex enterprise environments, particularly within regulated sectors like insurance and banking.

They're looking for a SIEM Consultant to take ownership of Microsoft Sentinel implementations and optimisation within a major enterprise setting. You'll work in a high‑trust, flexible environment alongside experienced consultants, with strong support for continuous development and real input into security strategy.

Responsibilities

• You will design, implement and optimise SIEM solutions using Microsoft Sentinel
• You will develop and maintain detection rules, automation workflows and security use cases
• You will analyse and onboard data sources within Azure environments, including Log Analytics Workspaces and Data Lakes
• You will support and advise on broader security architecture within cloud environments
• You will contribute to documentation, best practices and continuous improvement of security operations

Required Skills

• You have very strong C1 German language skills
• You have experience working as an IT Security Consultant or in a similar role
• You have strong knowledge of SIEM technologies, specifically Microsoft Sentinel
• You have experience working in Azure cloud environments
• You have a great understanding of security architectures and monitoring concepts
• You have strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
