Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) in Camp H. M. Smith, HI, seeks a SIEM Administrator to manage and optimize the USINDOPACOM SIEM platform using Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES.

The role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, and secure SIEM configurations to meet DoD and USINDOPACOM requirements. The candidate will design dashboards, alerts, and content, working with admins and developers to improve visibility and automation, while maintaining documentation and readiness for outages

Qualifications

• At least four years of system, network administration or developer experience.
• Two years of Splunk administration experience.
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin credential.
• Experience administering Linux servers.
• DoD 8140.03-M Intermediate Proficiency.
• Active secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the SIEM system health and security posture.
• Develop and enhance security monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports.
• Support incident response and ensure secure configuration of SIEM components.
• Maintain documentation and readiness, including daily ServiceNow ticket evaluation.
